Byungwan Yu, CEO of JIRANDATA, a data protection specialist company, received the Minister’s Award from the Ministry of Science and ICT at the “2024 Information Security Industry Night” ceremony. This award recognizes his contributions to the domestic personal information protection market and the development of the information security industry through JIRANDATA’s “Filter” series.
Since 2006, CEO Yu has successfully launched various data protection solutions, starting with the personal information protection solution “WebFilter,” followed by the endpoint protection solution “PCFilter,” and the AI-based “IDFilter.” Particularly since his appointment as CEO of JIRANDATA in September 2023, he has been gaining industry attention by leading innovation in data protection technology.
JIRANDATA plans to introduce a new data management and utilization solution based on Large Language Models (LLMs) in early 2024. Under the company vision of “Convenient Protection, Safe Utilization,” they plan to further strengthen their integrated data protection system.
